Foxtail Barns

Foxtail Barns is going to be a wedding venue like no other – and yes we are excited, and rightly so! From the moment you enter and drive down the majestic driveway you just know there is the promise of good things to come.

I visited the venue in late September 2020 to take a look at progress, and as a wedding photographer I was keen to take a few work in progress photographs, and imagine what it will be like.

 The build is well underway, and on schedule to open in 2021. 

This is not your typical new build. Far from it. This is an exciting restoration project. 

Foxtail Barns promises to be a unique wedding venue. The site has numerous design boards to give a taste of what is to come – a ceremony space with red brick and traditional oak beams and a new contemporary barn with wrought iron and distressed woodwork, playing to industrial styling. 

Then there are the gardens. The plan is to return the gardens of Consall Hall to peak condition. There is plenty of history here, and many of the original features will be kept. A glorious walled garden will be completely restored and the team will be rediscovering the original landscape. 

The gardens are glorious.

The ambition is to realise the potential of the stunning gardens. The plans are sensitive to Consall Hall Garden’s treasured heritage, landscape and ecology. The team will conserve and protect what makes Consall Hall so special, whilst securing the sustained up-keep of these wonderful gardens. 

The masterminds behind this project are the team at “Best Day Ever Venues“. They have a track record of delivering the most amazing wedding venues. You only need to take a look at The Ashes, Pendrell Hall and Mill Barns to get a flavor of their capabilities.

But, when the build is complete, it is the couples who will be celebrating their weddings here that will be the real judge and jury. Will they love it? I think the answer is an unequivocal “Yes”.

For now, we can only imagine what it will be like.
